coins

Coins are the suit representing earth. These cards tend to symbolize the physical body, value, labor, grounding, and structure.

ACE OF COINS

A single coin speaks for itself.

Opportunity, potential, a gift, a seed, an offering, a price to pay.

TWO OF COINS

Two coins touch, but do not intermingle. They are separate, yet they influence each other’s presence.

Balance, pacing, mindful participation, independent growth.

THREE OF COINS

Two coins create a base to uplift a third. Without any one single coin, it would no longer be a structure.

Collaboration, projects, mutual growth, sharing, diverse perspectives.

FOUR OF COINS
Two of the coins are intertwined, drawing attention, but we cannot see the two below. Are we right to assume they are secure and connected? Are we right to worry?

Protection, greed, materialism, structure, a safe and unchanging space, appreciation.

FIVE OF COINS

Though above, coins are connected, one is left out. Though conformity is assumed, the coins above are connected in slightly different ways. Are we better on the outside of such unions? Do we benefit from the shelter of the crowd?

Isolation, worth as determined by others, collective safety, conformity, being humbled.

SIX OF COINS

The coins move in cycles, in circles, all overlapping another, and all being overlapped. All is equal, all is shared.

Reciprocity, community health vs. charity, vulnerability, sharing, the cycles of growth.

SEVEN OF COINS

The row of coins leading upwards bow out in illusion. Time stretches and bends. Is the prize worth the wait? What does success look like when journeys take time, or never have an end?

Patience, slow progress, sustainability, anticipation.

EIGHT OF COINS

Two rows form a staircase, guiding us higher or deeper into our journey. We make the path as we walk it.

Repetition, independent development, passionate work, re-inspiration, internal work, and dialogue.

NINE OF COINS

Nine coins stacked in groups of three. Outcomes, realities, truths, all different. What is raise up? What is integrated? What is hidden?

Self-criticism, self-sufficiency, privilege, opportunities.

TEN OF COINS

Interconnected, overlapping, all in a circle. A portal, a vessel, a bloom.

Inter-connectivity, community wealth, expression of value, family, safety.
